Of Counsel

Jim Weisman is and has been the independent general counsel for Irongate Industrial from its inception, as well as its affiliates since their inception. He is thoroughly familiar with the legal aspects of our business and effectively oversees all legal matters for Irongate and its affiliates, including real estate acquisitions for their business operations and development. Jim has expertise in serving clients for analysis of business opportunities, conducting due diligence reviews, financing for acquisitions and operations and legal issues arising in operations. He has also represented clients in various state and federal courts throughout the United States. Jim has reduced his practice to concentrate on serving us and few select clients.

Prior to serving us and our affiliates, Jim served 11 years as a director of a New York Stock Exchange company with multiple facilities throughout the United States. As a director he chaired the nominating and governance committee and special committees for financing and strategic planning. He was also a member of their audit and compensation committees. Jim has been named a Super Lawyer by his peers and has an AV Pre-Eminent Rating, the highest rating for competency and ethics by Martindale-Hubble, the leading publisher of a legal directory for background information on lawyers in the United States and other countries. He has participated in various seminars for lawyers and was invited to participate in an educational roundtable for board members with a select group of five prominent directors of New York Stock Exchange companies and a Harvard Business School professor by the corporate governance magazine owned by the Exchange, which is widely distributed to executives and public company directors. Jim has also served for years as a member of the Board of Trustees for a non-profit institution providing special education for children with disabilities and other special education needs.

He is a graduate of the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School and has been awarded a Certificate of Meritorious Service for his distinguished service as a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association. His service to the Company and its affiliates has been an instrumental factor in their growth and success.
